Case Access And Management (CAAM)

Case Access and Management (CAAM) is the official judicial platform of the Supreme Court of Eritrea. Through CAAM, constitutional cases are commenced and argued in writing, decisions are rendered, and the resulting records are preserved as part of Eritrea’s developing constitutional jurisprudence. Oral hearings are ordinarily livestreamed, recorded, and made available on the Court’s YouTube channel. Case proceedings and records are ordinarily accessible to the public; however, where the Court determines that masking is necessary in the public interest, it may restrict access to identifying information, particular documents or proceedings, or the entire case record. Every filing, hearing, judgment, and precedent strengthens the rule of law, contributes to public legal education, and advances the long-term development of an independent judiciary.
